angelina having sex with her mom's boyfriend

Angelina Jolie Slept with her mother's live-in boyfriend when she was just 16, according to claims in an explosive unauthorised biography by Andrew Morton.

The 34-year-old actress allegedly confessed the illicit affair to Marcheline Bertrand, causing irreparable damage to their relationship.

'Marcheline had a live-in boyfriend whom she was very much in love with, but Angie slept with him when she was 16 and barely out of school,' a source told Now magazine.

'Her mother found out and ended her relationship with the man.'

Angelina was said to be devastated when her mother died of cancer, in 2007, at the age of 56.
The star is no stranger to scandal - she famously French-kissed her brother James Haven at the Oscars in 2000 and once sealed her love for former husband Billy Bob Thornton with a vial of blood.

She has since reinvented herself as a UN Goodwill Ambassador and a mother to three adopted children Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, and biological daughter, Shiloh, 3, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15 months.

Morton, who has also written controversial unauthorised biographies on Tom Cruise and the late Princess Diana, is expected to release the book later this year. He says: 'AJ is one of the most fascinating women on the planet. Hers has been an extraordinary journey and an extraordinary story. I'm looking forward to telling it.

Angelina, who last night dined at Hollywood Cicconi's restaurant with partner Brad Pitt, has not yet commented on the allegations. A separate book, titled Brangelina Exposed, is also set to lift the lid on her relationship with Pitt.

It promises to explain how the famous couple 'have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair's life together.'

Author Ian Halperin claims to reveal 'new details of her volatile relationship with and estrangement from her father Jon Voight, her struggles with suicidal impulses, her heroin use, her sexual exploits and her remarkable rise to become an Oscar-winning actress.' Brangelina Exposed is due for release on December 1

Things to Know About fat belly Surgery

Tummy tuck surgery is also known as abdominoplasty. It is a cosmetic surgery performed to achieve a flatter stomach. This procedure is done by tightening stretched abdominal muscles. The procedure also involves removing excess skin and fat from the abdomen. Many people are talking about this type of surgery, especially women in their early 40's. Do you need one?

Everyone wishes for a flat and well-toned abdomen. One can achieve this through exercise and diet. But sad to say, despite exercising and dieting, several women and men still have bulging stomachs. Fats in the stomach are usually caused by pregnancy, aging, heredity, and prior surgery which can not be remedied by exercise and diet. As a result of this, many consider the option of tummy tuck surgery.

One may consider to undergo a complete abdominoplasty or just a partial abdominoplasty. But before deciding on what kind of abdominal surgery to undergo, one must choose first his surgeon. One must have complete trust in him; there are several lists of surgeons available which one can choose from. Another decision to be made is whether the surgery be done in a clinic or in a hospital. Cost of the surgery also plays a vital role. Cost of surgery usually varies. Factors being considered in determining the cost are the age, weight and state of health of the patient.

The decision to undergo abdominoplasty largely depends on you. Considering the points cited above, try looking into the mirror and see for yourself if you need a tummy tuck surgery.

getting a neck lift

A neck lift is usually performed on individuals who wish to have a more taut and well-formed neck or jaw area. Individuals who are self-conscious due to their ''turkey neck'' may consider this type of cosmetic surgery. If you are thinking of going through with this surgery, there are some things you should first familiarize yourself with regarding the procedure. Are plastic surgery procedures safe for you? Learn more about plastic surgery procedures from reliable online sources and make informed decisions about it.

During a neck lift surgery, extra skin and fat are eliminated from the neck and the neck muscles are either taken out or adjusted. The ideal outcome is a neck and jawline that has an enhanced form. This surgery can be conducted alone, or in lieu with other surgeries such as a liposuction, chin implant or facelift to further improve the aesthetic appeal of the neck. One surgery alone such as a chin implant or liposuction can already result in a better look of the neck.

Recovery will usually take several weeks. As with many other surgical procedures, getting a face lift will come with risks. There can be problems such as infection, bleeding, inflammation and scarring. To avoid complications and minimize the possible risks involved, make sure you inform your surgeon of any unusual discomfort you experience after the procedure. Also make sure you follow through your doctor's post-op instructions. Generally, you should limit physical activity such as carrying very heavy objects and doing sports until you are completely recovered. In addition, you will most likely be given a specific type of diet as your surgery heals and a type of garment that you wear in the evenings to protect your neck.

Los Angeles the capital of Plastic Surgery

Undoubtedly, Los Angeles Breast Reduction is the capital of the beauty of the world. Why? This is because it is full of movie stars, models, fashion industry people and celebrities. LA is the Mecca of all things beautiful and this is where you find the most advanced procedures for plastic surgery. Los Angeles has more plastic surgeons per square mile qualified than any other part of the country.

LA is important in plastic surgery world for another reason. In LA, the improvement of your face and body through plastic surgery is not just for the rich celebs. It is also for ordinary people like you and me. If it's good for the rich and famous, it is good enough for us!

Get the job done the Way - the most popular procedures in Los Angeles

Look at the plastic surgery procedures, which are most popular with the world of celebrities.
- Tummy Tuck - The Tummy Tuck is a magnificent past super afternoon, plastic surgery of the cocktail to be a pillar of Mommies and housewives. Women who have children find a convenient and effective for removing the weight they gained (and cannot lose) during pregnancy. Other women find that it is a good way to get rid of abdominal fat that keeps pesky drag.

- Breasts - A wide variety of things that can be done to a woman, breasts: enlargement, implants, even reducing the breasts. It is now common for people whose breasts have become saggy with age, to use these techniques to get perky again. Breast is also ideal for women to get the weight loss or pregnancy. Breast enlargement can fix the breasts of different size. And many women who have lost a breast cancer breast implants now use to recover.

- Lifting and now Botox - Your face droops naturally over time, and you can use this new age of science to sharpen your specifications. Facelift is the norm, but the Botox is the new, more natural solution preferred by celebrities and ordinary people alike.

Plastic surgery is for the guys too!

You may have heard of George Clooney or Tom Cruise is a bit of work. In the world of celebrities, plastic surgery is not just for women. This ranges from people's daily lives as well.
The most popular plastic surgery is the solution for men abdominal work. Men tend to have a particular problem in this area, and no amount of reduction of tasty food or off the couch occasionally seems to take care of him. Many men also have a little face work done to reverse the effects of aging. It is common nowadays for men to get a minor facelift surgery from the front, like an elevator, or a bit of work on the nose.

The good news is that plastic surgery is no longer expensive and hard to find. Every city across the country or large cities across the world (not just LA!) is full of qualified plastic surgeons that can make your dreams come true. It isn't just for southern California's movie stars anymore! Do you intend to go under the knife ?? as for me I still believe nature has provide the best for our every day life.
But it is allright too if an elderly women want to firm her breast or thigh or vagina as well to make her feel good about herself.

Words of wisdom from Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton topless
SYDNEY (Reuters) - Words of wisdom from Paris Hilton are to be immortalized alongside remarks by some of the greatest thinkers of all time in the latest edition of the Oxford Book of Quotations -- and she reckons it's "so cool."

Hilton, the socialite turned reality TV star and retailing phenomenon, is listed in the latest version of the 65-year-old dictionary, released this week, alongside the likes of Confucius, Oscar Wilde and Stephen Hawking.

Her contribution? "Dress cute wherever you go, life is too short to blend in."

Hilton, 28, was delighted to be featured in the book, which is a renowned list of memorable sayings.

"So cool that I have a quote in the dictionary," she wrote on her Twitter page.

Another new entry in the seventh edition of the Oxford University Press publication is Sarah Palin.

The former vice-presidential candidate makes the cut for her most famous quip: "What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Lipstick."

More than 20,000 new quotations have been added to the dictionary, including one credited to President Barack Obama that echoes words spoken by Martin Luther King Jr.: "The arc of history is long, but it bends toward justice."

Others came from the likes of British author Terry Pratchett -- using "embuggerance" to describe his Alzheimer's -- and from author Fay Weldon: "Guilt is to motherhood as grapes are to wine."

hugh hefner playboy documentary

playboy, playmate, cybergirl is trademark of hugh hefner business empire, the bunny logo is a well known Playboy icon

By Etan Vlessing
TORONTO (Hollywood Reporter) - Hugh Hefner is bringing his Playboy party to the Toronto International Film Festival.

Hefner said he'll be in Toronto with his "girlfriends" as part of the promotional push and party parade for the world premiere of "Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel," by Oscar-winning documentary maker Brigitte Berman.

It turns out that Hefner broke more than sexual taboos after launching Playboy magazine in 1953. He also campaigned for civil rights and free speech and put blacklisted and black American performers on his "Playboy After Dark" and "Playboy's Penthouse" TV shows when they couldn't appear elsewhere on national television.

"Here's an opportunity to have this other side of me, a more serious one, explored by someone as talented as Brigitte Berman, and having it done by a woman and a Canadian with the support of the Canadian government, it's all very complementary," Hefner said.

The Playboy founder said he met Berman after she won the best feature documentary award at the 1987 Academy Awards for "Artie Shaw: Time Is All You've Got," a biopic of the jazz clarinetist and bandleader.

"I'm a big fan of jazz, and I was intrigued by that and discovered she had a second documentary that no one had seen on (1920s jazz musician) Bix Beiderbecke, one of my real iconic heroes when I was a kid," he said.

Hefner paid for the music clearance fees on Berman's 1981 film "Bix: Ain't None of Them Play Like Him Yet," and released it on his Jazz Video label.

Years later, when Berman attended Hefner's 80th birthday celebration at the Playboy Mansion, she convinced him to allow her to recount his early battles with the U.S. government, the religious right and militant feminists -- with full access to him and his video archives.

The film chronicles the ways Hefner broke the color line in his Playboy clubs and TV shows, funded legal teams to fight anti-abortion laws and campaigned against censorship and limits on sexual freedom.

"For me, this film has it all -- sex, glamour, politics, romance, tragedy, and conflicts -- and many great surprises about a man people think they know, but don't really know," Berman said.

madonna broke her own record

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Madonna smashed her own record for top-grossing tour by a solo artist, but the "Material Girl" had to play more shows in bigger venues, according to data released by concert promoter Live Nation Inc on Wednesday.

The pop singer's yearlong "Sticky & Sweet" world tour, which wrapped in Israel on Wednesday, pulled in $408 million after playing to more than 3.5 million fans at 85 shows.

It broke the record set in 2006 by her previous outing, the "Confessions" tour, which grossed $194 million from 1.2 million fans at 60 shows. A Live Nation spokesman said the previous trek featured many arena stops, while the latest one was centered on bigger stadiums.

On September 28, Madonna will release "Celebration" CD and video compilations, which will draw the curtain on her 27-year relationship with Warner Music Group Corp. In 2007, she signed a pioneering, 10-year, $120 million "360" deal with Live Nation covering recording, merchandising and touring.

The top-grossing tour overall is the Rolling Stones' $558 million "Bigger Bang" trek of 2005-2007, which drew 4.7 million people to 144 shows.

whitney houston come back to No. 1

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Whitney Houston struggled with her voice during her much-hyped comeback performance on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Tuesday. But industry prognosticators don't expect the diva to trip up on the charts next week.

"I Look To You" -- Houston's first album in seven years -- is expected to sell upward of 200,000 copies during the week ended September 6, which should easily enable it to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart when rankings are released next Wednesday.

Houston would do well to suppress any loud cheers so that she doesn't hurt her famous pipes. During Tuesday's performance for 5,000 concert-goers at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield, she apologized for her voice.

"I'm sorry. I did 'Oprah.' I've been talking so long ... I talked so much, my voice," she attempted to explain. "I shouldn't be talking, I should be singing," she said before breaking into "I'm Every Woman," the last of her three-song set. Other tracks performed included "Million Dollar Bill" and the album's title track, during which Houston choked up.

Other artists with new albums in stores this week include The Used, Trey Songz, Pitbull, Chevelle and John Fogerty.

Shania Twain is back

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Country singer Shania Twain is feeling like a woman again, returning to the spotlight with a new man by her side after her marriage broke up last year.

Twain, 44, separated from her husband of 14 years, record producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, just over a year ago after he had an affair, ending a highly lucrative partnership in which Lange produced the Canadian star's three blockbuster albums.

But after largely disappearing from the public eye for a year, Twain is back, set to appear as a guest judge on television singing contest "American Idol" during auditions this week.

In a letter addressed to fans on her website, which is accompanied by a video, Twain said she spent the past year traveling, reading, sharing time with her son 8-year-old Eja, and "concentrating on moving on and forward."

"I hit a very big bump in the road," said Twain, whose marriage broke down after her husband was reported to be having an affair with longtime secretary and manager of the couple's Swiss chateau, Marie-Anne Thiebaud.

Twain said she has now made a point of surrounding herself with loving people whom she could trust, referring particularly to a man called "Fred" described as a constant companion who understood her pain as his own family had split up under "the same extreme circumstances."

Her companion is Frederic Thiebaud, the husband of Marie-Anne Thiebaud.

"We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We've become stronger and closer through it all, as have our children Eja and Johanna (Fred's 8-year-old daughter)," said Twain.

"When I reflect on it all, it's clear how remarkably active my life has been since last December -- a time in the life of someone working hard to "move on" and succeeding."

Twain made no mention of when she would be out with some new music.

Eva mendes renews Her calvin klein contract

Latina mega star Eva Mendes has lined up a steamy follow-up to her topless Calvin Klein ads after reteaming with the edgy fashion brand for their new underwear and jeans campaign.
Mendes' ads for Calvin Klein fragrance were deemed so sexy by American television bosses, several networks refused to air the footage last year.

But the Hitch star, who declared Americans too "prudish" for censoring the ad, hasn't been swayed by her critics. The actress will join forces with model Jamie Dornan - who starred in ads for the brand alongside Kate Moss - for the upcoming global advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein Jeans and Underwear.

Mendes will also remain the face of Calvin Klein Underwear and Secret Obsession fragrance for their Fall 2009 ads. The new campaign, shot by famed photographer Steven Klein, will hit fashion magazines and billboards this autumn,

Sexy? Yes. Megan Fox says it's part of her fame

sexy megan fox
Megan Fox:"
I have the libido of a 15-year-old boy - my sex drive is so high."

Sexy.....?    Yes. Megan Fox says it's part of her "Transformers" fame

By Edwin Chan

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Two years ago few people knew her face, much less her name. But now Megan Fox of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," is among Hollywood's hottest actresses whose sex appeal has won millions of fans.

While many of the 23-year-old's peers might want to avoid the label "sex symbol" for fear it would obscure their acting talent, Fox, whose new "Transformers" sequel debuts in theaters on Wednesday, is just the opposite.

She thinks being sexy has its advantages. It helped get Fox her start in 2007's original, big-budget action flick "Transformers" from director Michael Bay, and that has led her to her other parts where she is now achieving what she set out to do in Hollywood -- become a real actress.
megan fox in nude

"Women in movies, in general, are sexy -- especially in Michael's movies. And if you want to make movies that people want to see, that's part of it. That's part of the formula," Fox told reporters at a recent news conference.

Bay, who was sitting with her, chimed in: "It's called summer fun. It's a robot movie."

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is based on the popular toys and cartoons about shape-shifting cars which morph into "autobots" that fight alien "decepticons" who want to control Earth. In the 2007 movie, the decepticons got thrashed in the final battle. Now, they're back to avenge their losses.

The effects-filled movies are aimed mostly at young men, and with that in mind Bay hired the attractive brunette from Tennessee to co-star as the movie's main love interest, Mikaela Banes, who favors tight jeans and even tighter t-shirts.

OPENING SHOT, OPENING DOORS

Bay, ever willing to indulge fan tastes, has made sure Fox's first appearance in "Revenge of the Fallen" has an impact. As Mikaela, the lanky actress is filmed from behind, sprawled on a motorcycle in hotpants and motorcycle boots.

"We got that first shot out of the way, just to get it out for the young boys...and moved on," Bay said.

Before 2007, most of Fox's work had been small parts on TV and in movies, but fan buzz from the smash hit "Transformers" ($700 million global box office) catapulted her to stardom.

"The movie, its success and how well it was received has opened a lot of doors for me, career-wise," Fox said.

Fox wants to be more than just a pretty face in Hollywood's next big action flick, and when "Transformers" "opened a lot of doors" for her, she took advantage.

She will soon star opposite Oscar-nominees Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in sci-fi Western "Jonah Hex", due to hit theaters later this year. In September, she headlines supernatural comedy "Jennifer's Body", penned by Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody ("Juno").
sexy megan beach photo

"I've been able to be a part of films I don't really feel like I deserve to have been a part of," she said, in a nod to her lack of experience.

But what Fox can't quite get her head around, is the price of fame -- constantly being hounded by paparazzi and press.

"Being photographed at Whole Foods, or like coming out of Rite-Aid with your shampoo bottles and stuff, that's new to me," Fox said.

Charlie's angels - Farrah Fawcett, 1970s sex symbol, dies aged 62

Friday, Jun 26, 2009 3:4AM UTC

By Jill Serjeant

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress Farrah Fawcett, the "Charlie's Angels" television star whose big smile and feathered blond mane made her one of the reigning sex symbols of the 1970s, died on Thursday after a long battle with cancer. She was 62.

Fawcett, who first vaulted to stardom by an alluring poster of her in a red swimsuit, was diagnosed with anal cancer in late 2006. It spread to her liver in 2007, proving resistant to numerous medical treatments in Germany and California.

"After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away," Fawcett's long time companion, actor Ryan O'Neal, said in a statement.

"Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world."

Fawcett's death in a Los Angeles hospital came just six weeks after the TV broadcast in May of a video diary she made chronicling her battle with cancer and her final months.

Called "Farrah's Story," the documentary was effectively a self-penned obituary by the actress, who was bedridden and had lost her famous hair by the time it was shown.

O'Neal said she had wanted to tell her story on her own terms. Earlier this week, O'Neal said Fawcett had agreed to marry him before her death, but a marriage never took place, a spokesman for the actress and O'Neal said.

Fawcett, born February 2, 1947, in Corpus Christi, Texas, was an art student in college before she began modeling, appearing in shampoo ads.

She started guest-starring on TV in the late 1960s and appeared on the television hit "The Six Million Dollar Man" after marrying the show's star, Lee Majors, in 1974. The couple divorced in the early 1980s.

ANGEL CULTURE

Fawcett's career took off thanks to a poster of her posing flirtatiously with a brilliant smile in a red one-piece bathing suit. It sold millions of copies and led to her being cast in 1976 in "Charlie's Angels," an action show about three beautiful, strong women private detectives.

As the tanned and glamorous Jill Munroe -- part of a trio that included Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson -- Fawcett was the hit show's most talked-about star. She left "Charlie's Angels" after only one season but lawsuit settlements brought her back to guest-star in subsequent years.

"Farrah had courage, she had strength and she had faith. And now she has peace as she rests with the real angels," Smith said in a statement.

Fawcett's face appeared on T-shirts, posters and dolls. She came to epitomize the glamorous California lifestyle and inspired a worldwide craze for blown-out, feathered-back hair.

The New York Times once described that hair as "a work of art ... emblematic of women in the first stage of liberation -- strong, confident and joyous."

In late 2008, Fawcett shaved her own hair when it began falling out because of her cancer treatments.

SERIOUS ROLES

While Fawcett's early career was marked by lightweight roles, the actress sought to play down her sex symbol image in more challenging dramas in the '80s.

She earned critical acclaim for her performance as a battered wife in 1984's "The Burning Bed," for which she received the first of three Emmy nominations.

The off-Broadway play and subsequent film "Extremities," in which Fawcett played a woman who takes revenge on a would-be attacker, earned one of her six Golden Globe nominations.

Fawcett posed for Playboy magazine in 1995, the same year she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

She had one son, Redmond, with O'Neal. Redmond O'Neal, now 24, was arrested on several occasions in 2008 and 2009 for heroin and methamphetamine offenses leading to time in jail.

In the last few years, Fawcett appeared frequently on entertainment TV, where she shared details of her battle with cancer.

But she was outraged when news of her deteriorating condition was leaked to tabloid newspapers. A Los Angeles hospital employee was charged in 2008 with stealing and selling Fawcett's medical records, leading to a new California law imposing tighter controls on medical files and stiffer penalties for privacy breaches.

Wacko Jacko - King of Pop Michael Jackson dies, aged 50

Friday, Jun 26, 2009 4:17AM UTC

By Bob Tourtellotte

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Michael Jackson, the child star turned King of Pop who set the world dancing but whose musical genius was overshadowed by a bizarre lifestyle and sex scandals, died on Thursday. He was 50.

Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. PDT (9:26 p.m. EDT) after arriving at a Los Angeles hospital in full cardiac arrest, said Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner's office. The cause of death was not known and an autopsy would likely take place on Friday, he said.

Jackson was taken ill at home and his personal physician tried to resuscitate him but could not, his brother Jermaine told reporters. He was taken by paramedics to the hospital, where doctors worked for more than an hour to try to revive him before pronouncing him dead, the brother said.

Late Thursday, his body was flown by helicopter from the hospital to the coroner's office.

The self-styled "King of Pop," whose hits included "Thriller" and "Billie Jean," leaves behind a mountain of debt and an unfulfilled series of comeback concerts set for London in July. Many hoped the shows would rake in millions and erase his financial troubles.

Jackson's dramatic, one-gloved stage presence and innovative dance moves were imitated by legions of fans around the world who mourned his death.

His lifetime record sales tally was believed to be around 750 million. With his 13 Grammy Awards and boundary-breaking music videos he was one of the most successful entertainers of all time.

But Jackson's belief that "I am Peter Pan in my heart," his preference for the company of children, his friendship with a chimp, his high-pitched voice and numerous plastic surgeries also earned him critics and the nickname "Wacko Jacko."

Jackson led a reclusive life after his acquittal in 2005 on charges of child molestation, the second time he had faced ultimately unproved allegations of abuse of young boys.

"I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news," said Quincy Jones, who helped arrange the music on the album "Thriller" and produced the "Off the Wall" album, said in a statement.

Celebrity tributes poured in for the singer who was one of the first black entertainers of the MTV generation to gain a big crossover following.

Pop star Madonna said: "I can't stop crying over the sad news ... I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats but his music will live on forever."

JACKSON'S HEALTH A QUESTION

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery Homicide division searched Jackson's home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, saying they had been directed to do so by Chief William Bratton because of the media frenzy.

Police called the investigation an "every day" event and said they were assigned due to the high profile nature of it.

But Jackson was plagued by ill health throughout his adult years leading to speculation about his condition when he died.

As Jackson grew older he appeared to lighten his skin to a pale white -- which he said was caused by the skin pigmentation condition vitiligo. Last year he was photographed in Las Vegas in a wheelchair for reasons that were never explained.

Yet, even as he seemed to be sick, Jackson planned the series of comeback concerts in London starting July 13 to help erase debts that the Wall Street Journal reported ran to $500 million, citing people familiar with Jackson's finances.

He had been rehearsing for the past two months, including Wednesday night at Los Angeles' huge Staples Center arena.

Brian Oxman, a spokesman for the Jackson family, told CNN that the family had been concerned about the pop star's health and had tried in vain to take care of him for months.

"Michael appeared at rehearsals a couple of times, he was very seriously trying to be able to do those rehearsals. His use of medications had gotten in the way, his injuries which he had sustained performing, where he had broken a vertebrae and he had broken his leg from a fall on the stage, were getting in the way," Oxman told CNN.

But the promoters of the London shows, AEG Live, said in March that Jackson had passed a 4-1/2 hour physical examination with independent doctors.

CHILD STAR TO MEGASTAR

Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, the seventh of nine children. Five Jackson boys -- Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael -- first performed together at a talent show when Michael was 6. They walked off with first prize and went on to become a best-selling band, The Jackson Five, and then The Jackson 5.

Jackson made his first solo album in 1972, and released "Thriller" in 1982, which became a smash hit that yielded seven top-10 singles. The album sold 21 million copies in the United States and at least 27 million worldwide.

The next year, he unveiled his signature "moonwalk" dance move, gliding across the stage and setting off an instant trend, while performing "Billie Jean" during an NBC special.

But his personal life was troubled.

In 1993, Jackson was accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy, but no charges were filed against him and the matter was settled out of court in 1994 with the boy's family.

The same year, Jackson announced he had become addicted to painkillers and abruptly canceled a world tour to promote his album, "Dangerous."

In 1994, Jackson married Elvis Presley's only child, Lisa Marie, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1996.

"I'm so very sad and confused with every emotion possible. ... This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me," Presley said in statement.

Jackson married Debbie Rowe the same year and had two children, before splitting in 1999, and he later had another child with an unidentified surrogate mother.

He is survived by three children named Prince Michael I, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II, known for his brief public appearance when his father held him over the railing of a hotel balcony, causing widespread criticism.

Dozens of fans gathered near Jackson's modest boyhood home in Gary, to pay their respects to the entertainer who left the city long ago. Some deposited flowers or toys and others blared his hit songs from their car stereos.

In Los Angeles, fans waited outside the hospital, the coroner's office, and in New York, people gathered at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, singing Jackson hits and dancing in celebratory tribute.

While watching the famous interrogation scene from Basic Instinct, you can’t help yourself from noticing the aura and screen presence of Sharon Stone that she commands over you. The dishy actress, who was ruling the charts during the whole of 90s, has always displayed her intelligence and knack of going the other way from the crowd. And this can be cited as the reason for her tremendous success and popularity among the movie goers.

Sharon Vonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania was the second of four children; of Dorothy an accountant and homemaker, and Joseph Stone, a tool and die manufacturer. When she was only 15 and studying in Saegertown High School, Pennsylvania and, she entered Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with a degree in creative writing and fine arts.

She was considered rather a smart kid, given her high IQ level and often asked to pursue a career in law. But the lure of movies got the better of her and she decided to walk on the uneven but yet interesting trail of movie Dom.

Career in Movies

In 1975, Stone entered and won the title of Miss Crawford County in Meadville. Later she shifted base to New Jersey in 1977 to live with an aunt, upon listening to the suggestion of one of the pageant judges that she should join modeling. She was soon signed by Ford Modeling Agency and appeared in TV commercials for Burger King, Clairol and Maybelline.

But it was while seeking more creative satisfaction that she landed up with her first movie appearance in 1980, in Woody Allen's Stardust Memories (1980). Later followed more tits and bits parts in movies like Wes Craven's horror movie, Deadly Blessing (1981), Action Jackson (1988), King Solomon's Mines (1985) etc. her moment of glory came when starred opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in Total Recall (1990). This was also the time when she posed nude for the Playboy magazine.

But the major breakthrough that oscillated her to the topmost heights of Hollywood came when she signed up for bisexual serial killer in Basic Instinct (1992) opposite Michael Douglas. The movie made her a femme fatale among the masses and she automatically joined the creamy layer of movie industry. The controversial scene in the movie that became unwanted case of nudity on Sharon’s part alas! became a part of history. The fiery actress till date claims ignorance about the deal.

A series of movies followed where time and again she proved her mettle in roles essayed by her. In fact, she even won a Golden Globe Award in 1996 for Best Actress in a Dramatic Motion Picture for her role as "Ginger" in Martin Scorsese's Casino opposite Robert DeNiro. The actress also earned herself a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995.

She also did a guest appearance in the popular law series The Practice and even won an Emmy award in 2003 for it.

Her second innings at box office didn’t set the cash registers jingling exactly. Her two major movies Catwoman (2004) and Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction 2006 bombed at the box office.

The actress is a firm believer n Buddhism which she recently started practicing after a brief link with scientology. She was earlier married to Michael Greenburg in 1984, but got divorced after just two years. She again married in February 14, 1998, Phil Bronstein and again got a divorce. She has adopted three kids so far, being Roan Joseph Bronstein Laird Vonne Ston and, Quinn Kelly.

Since then Sharon has been rumored to have bisexual inclinations. The actress, with the way things  are going will surely deliver one more performance to top her already filled up good acting books.

charlie's angels battle with cancer

Back in the 1970s, "Charlie's Angels" co-stars Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson grabbed a TV audience's attention with their flowing locks, good looks and charisma.

Today, still on a mission, they are still making headlines, but for different reasons.

It turns out the three beauties had more in common than they bargained for - a cancer diagnosis.

Fawcett, 62, who is currently battling anal cancer, which has spread to her liver, and Smith, 61, and Jackson, 59, who both won their battles with breast cancer, know what it's like to have their privacy invaded while undergoing treatment.

Entrenched in a media frenzy over 2 1/2 years, Fawcett spoke out - for the first time since her 2006 dignosis.

She blasted the National Enquirer for leaking information from her medical records and the UCLA Medical Center for failing to protect them, in a May 11 Los Angeles Times article.

"It's much easier to go through something and deal with it without being under a microscope," Fawcett told the L.A. Times. "It was stressful. I was terrified of getting the chemo. It's not pleasant. And the radiation is not pleasant."

Like Fawcett, Smith had a story sold to the tabloids about her breast cancer diagnosis in 2002.
When battling cancer, Smith says to "enlighten yourself" and understand that "everybody's situation is totally different."

"You want to put yourself in the hands of a doctor you trust and believe in, that informs you about everything to do with your particular case," she explained. "Certainly being a breast cancer survivor, I say yearly mammograms, self-examination certainly after 40 if there is a family history before. Early detection is key to a good prognosis - so that's a must."

Since her breast cancer diagnosis, Smith has changed her approach to life and attributes her good health and good looks to "clean living" and a low-fat diet.

"You become aware of what you put into your body after you have something like breast cancer, but I am married to a pediatric heart surgeon, so of course I eat a low-fat diet, I exercise and I don't smoke," she said.

Smith returned to her "Charlie's Angels" roots in 2004, when she made a cameo in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle."

Tyra Banks in New York court

NEW YORK (Reuters) - TV host and ex-supermodel Tyra Banks faced her accused stalker in a New York court on Wednesday, saying she fears for her safety since the man allegedly threatened her assistant and contacted her show.

Brady Green, 39, was arrested in March after prosecutors say he appeared twice at the Manhattan studio where "The Tyra Banks Show," a daytime talk show, is filmed.

Green is accused of repeatedly contacting the show, sending Banks flowers with the note "When I see you, I love you," and threatening to slit the throat of her assistant.

"I don't fear, like, my life," Banks, 35, told a judge at New York State Supreme Court. "I fear my safety ... . I feel very vulnerable. I don't know what could happen."

Banks, who also hosts "America's Next Top Model," said she had been forced to hire security and that bodyguards now accompany her when she eats at restaurants or goes to the movies.

During opening statements, Green's attorney portrayed him as a harmless fan and said Banks courted admirers by giving them multiple ways of reaching out to her and cultivating an image of being approachable.

Green has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor stalking and harassment charges. He faces a maximum of 90 days in jail if convicted.

"The Tyra Banks Show" is a syndicated program set to begin airing on the CW Network in September. The network is owned jointly by CBS Corp. and Time Warner.
